"The Stories in the Stones" is one of
two creative blogs associated with Lunar Blue Designs - a place where
the stones are the focus and highlight of one-of-a-kind jewelry,
devotional items, and accessories. Lunar Blue Designs is owned and
operated by Jennifer and Amy - welcome!
Jennifer designs and creates earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and items
such as bolo ties, key rings, charms, and lanyards. She has designed and
created beaded jewelry for more than ten years. Her Ph.D. in Planetary Science,
with a sub-specialty in geology, as well as her B.S. in Astronomy all give her depth of knowledge and
insight about the gemstones and crystals she loves. You are on her blog right now!
Amy designs and creates hand-knotted gemstone japa malas, wrist malas,
and other prayer beads. She has lived and worked in Japan; and with an
M.A. in East Asian Studies, she is drawn to art and craft with an Asian
aesthetic
